Does God exist? (P1)
So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny? (Sura Rahman)
The existence of God is a question that people have debated, and questioned for many centuries. It is perhaps, one of the most commonly asked, and in some cases, fought over topics! But why? You see, we as humans have been created with an innate spiritual connection to Allah, whether you like to admit it or not, this is within everyone. Essentially, its a "Fitrah" (A natural Instinct).
This Fitrah sometimes guides us to certain paths, for example, when you get 'the feeling' of doing a particular action or saying a particular word. This is no coincidence, nor is 'the universe' speaking to you. Rather, it is the fitrah (natural instinct) present within your very soul, that is used to guide you towards Allah.
A basic example is when you observe young children. You do not need to tell them that hurting another child is a bad thing, it's a natural instinct that tells them this. Or, to observe positive qualities with another another. This blog will examine, in InshAllah two parts, signs within and around us to prove the existence of Allah.
Allah(SWT)
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ
Certainly We created man in the best make. (1)

Certainly We created man in the best make. (1)
Now of course, this can be spoken about for centuries and still would not do justice to the words of Allah! Nor will we fully understand all the inner and outer meanings. However for the purpose of this blog we will use it for some points.
Scientists have found that simply within your naval (bellybutton) is it's very own ecosystem! The amount of bacteria that resides there, under a microscope shows what looks like a dense forest. In fact, in some cases they were also able to spot more dominant than others, bacteria. You'd think a whole world lives within your naval alone?!

In fact, in some cases they were also able to spot more dominant than others, bacteria. You'd think a whole world lives within your naval alone?!
In fact, from 60 bellybuttons observed, researches have found approximately 2,368 bacterial species, of which, 1,458 may be new to science (2). Now this point alone is specific to the bellybutton, we haven't even looked at the rest of the human body and it's capabilities!
Next point! An estimated 100 million blood cells die in our body each day. Yes, each day! It is said if not countered it would simply take a few days before you die. However, per day your body reacts by producing 300 BILLION new cells. That's right, the difference being a positive Two Hundred, Ninety Nine Billion, Nine Hundred Million new cells. Go look at that as a figure, it's quite baffling.
So, if we add to this, the natural ageing process of our blood cells is referred to as - apoptosis . Sometimes, what can happen is the a cell may spontaneously change into something of a deformity, such that if your immune system does not spot this immediately, it can and will turn into cancerous cells and spread rapidly. Studies have shown that B cells (a type of white blood cells) can spontaneously change and if not attacked right away may spread into cancer. (3,4)
So what does the body do? In a process named senescence, it prevents cells from dividing and prevents damaged cells from continuing to grow. The body literally sends a warning signal, a distress call, that something abnormal is happening and needs attention! In response, the body attacks the damaged cell and prevents the growth and spread of cancer. Amazing no?! (3,4)
So as to not bore you with many many more things, and to maintain the idea that this is simply a 'blog' and not necessarily a thesis! I will make note to one more random point. That is, stomach acid! Our stomach acid contains hydrochloric acid, in a study conducted to assess the strength of this acid, scientists placed Razor blades, disc batteries, and pennies in a simulated gastric juice at roughly 37 degrees. The final product? Corrosion of razor blades occurred RAPIDLY! Further, within 24 hours, the double edged blades became so frail they could be broken without much force. But how does our stomach not suffer the damage? The stomach secrets sticky neutralizing mucus that clings onto the stomach walls thus protecting us. This mucus is also completely regenerated within a period of roughly every 4 days! (5,6,7)
In conclusion, many things take place within our own body daily and in some cases, occasionally (such as pregnancy and the likes). Taking these into account truly indicates that there must be a designer, an intelligent creator who would make something so remarkable and truly astonishing. Remember, this blog has only taken a few points of the many many points you can research yourself. Ask yourself, and ponder over the amazing miracles your very own body performs without us even thinking about it. Ask yourself about the precision and accuracy in which our body acts. Ask yourself, did this seriously come from nothing? Or is there an intelligent creator behind all this? Allah.
