Ask yourself sincerely...
Life is all about reflection and being true to yourself. I have had one of those moments in which, I truly had to ask myself sincerely. Now, I give the question to you:
Are we taking advantage of the mercy of Allah?
Are we taking advantage of the fact that we know, if we commit sin, Allah will not punish us right away but rather give us time to repent and reform?
We are more likely to wake up for work, after 1 hour sleep, than we are to wake up for fajr after 8 hours
Is it because we fear that our boss will sack us or yell at us?
And we know that Allah will just wait... He will forgive, don't worry?
Think about it,
We fear people and their direct reaction as oppose to Allah and His mercy.
Yet we know His punishment is worse than anything you can imagine
In the quran Allah says:
Surah Al-Fajr, Verse 25:
But on that day shall no one chastise with (anything like) His chastisement,
So, we know His punishment is severe. But do we take it seriously?
Ask yourself sincerely?
Sometimes we rely on people more than we rely on Allah. We think people are able to help us more than Allah. But I will leave some verses from the quran:
Surah At-Talaq, Verse 2 & 3
With that is admonished he who believes in Allah and the latter day; and whoever is careful of (his duty to) Allah, He will make for him an outlet, And give him sustenance from whence he thinks not; and whoever trusts in Allah, He is sufficient for him; surely Allah attains His purpose; Allah indeed has appointed a measure for everything.
Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 160:
If Allah assists you, then there is none that can overcome you, and if He forsakes you, who is there then that can assist you after Him? And on Allah should the believers rely.
Surah Ad-Dhuha, Verse 4 & 5
And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased.
Excellent
